  • A New Word A Day: "arcane"

    arcane \ar-KAYN\, adjective:

Understood or known by only a few.

There are other arcane traditions that seem like superstitions to us, or, perhaps, are simply lost in translation. Some cyclists, for instance, believe that riders should shower instead of bathe because in some way water weight from baths is absorbed.

  • Turns out that I don't have the potential to be one of those 闊太! Been idle these days, waiting for some job duties to come only in August. Yeah, just one of those "cheap bones" that NEED to work to feel alive.

These days been trying to kick my ass out of the freaking chair and head to the gym... and THAT'S ALL! Could only kill two to three hours, TOPS, traffic included. But I broke my personal record for visiting three days in a row. Already one HUGE step taken, personally speaking....  I just hate myself for saying that but I really wish I had some books to prepare for my new challenge to come....

Good that my mum proposed watching "Up" and even BETTER that there's one cinema around the neighborhood that does NOT feature the 3D digital version. Those glasses are just KILLING me and the images watched without that stupid gadget are delusionally blurry.....Gotta be one touching movie, I suppose?

  • Can't expect to learn some words of wisdom out of some pc games.

From "Tumblebug", there's one brilliant line:

"Don't argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience."

"Don't mess up an apology with an excuse"

"Ambition is just a poor excuse for not having a good sense to be lazy."

"Honesty is the best policy. But insanity is a better defence"

    Well said. Well said.
